January 2, 2007 - News from Guatemala
Chicacao Suchitepéquez. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is a pleasure to greet you in the love of the Lord. In my work here in Guatemala, the number of patients is increasing in the communities where the flow of patients was very low. Also, the participation of the local brethrens is improving. In San Basilio, a church that has always been involved, the participation of the church is even better these days. The activities that we do are home visits to sick people. Many of these result in bible study with those people. We pray with all the patients as well as with members in their home congregations who are sick and need spiritual strength, etc. I also meet with all the church leaders of the congregations we are serving. I do this as part of the efforts to get better results in ministering the people we serve. I am beginning to see the difference and I thank God for allowing me to do this. We are putting thoughts together on how to proceed to start the church in La Ceiba. Mixpilla and Las Margaritas are two places where the church is very unstable. I am working on a plan to strength the church members I there. Please, pray about this so we can get great results for the glory of God. James 5:7 Sincerely, Baldemar Ruiz Alvarado
June 28, 2006 - Greetings from Baldimar Ruiz
To the Brentwood Church family, Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, as always, it is a pleasure to greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you that the Lord continues to bless us with his great mercy. Our medical mobile clinics continue to go on and this is an opportunity for all the staff of Talentos de Salud to share God’s love with the patients that come to our clinic. We just had a great month of activities with students from the USA. They participated with us in the work that is done in Guatemala through Talentos de Salud Internacional. Please continue to pray for me, so I can be encouraged to preach the gospel and for all the staff of Clinica Ezell. It is my hope that all of you are being blessed by our heavenly father. In Christ, Baldemar Ruiz Evangelista
