Funerals

“So it shall be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. ”  Paul to the Corinthian believers

The power of our faith is seen most clearly in life’s painful moments. Death is one of those. When we face death – our own or that of someone we love – we want to be prepared to think God’s thoughts with him. We want to be sorrowful in all the right ways. And we want to be appropriately joyful because of the hope we have in Christ.

Practical Considerations
