The ministries of Brentwood Oaks have grown organically out of our concern for loving God, bringing people to faith in our Lord, and caring for people in need.

One of Brentwood Oaks' great concerns has been Christian education, in all senses of the phrase. We are committed to knowledge of the Bible, and having it be at the core of our Sunday school curricula for children and adults. Our children memorize and learn the stories of God's interactions with his people. Our adult curriculum is designed to cover the entire Bible over each four year period.

Further, Brentwood Christian School (K-12) and Children's Ark are ministries of the church, co-located on the church site. In addition, Brentwood church is involved with the Austin Graduate School of Theology.

We make a place for and welcome children with special needs at Brentwood. Brentwood also oversees the Village Christian Apartments, a living complex for those desiring to live independently.

Brentwood Oaks has always had a heart for missions and preaching of the gospel. We have a long history of work, evangelical and medical, in Guatemala. We have been involved in missions in Russia and Zambia, and recently dedicated Shay and Juli Smith to a work in Ireland. We also encourage and support members in short-term mission trips each year.

Of course, members are involved in many other ministries which you can peruse through the menu to the left. These offer great opportunities for involvement and ministry for our members.
