Children's Worship
Sonshine Hour is a place where we…
- present Bible stories and principles in a creative, yet reverent manner
- teach proper behavior and attitudes for worship assemblies
- provide opportunities for memorization and understanding of scriptures
- apply Biblical principles to a child’s needs in everyday life
Our Children’s Worship hour is for children 2 1/2 to 5 years old (pre-Kindergarten). We meet each Sunday morning in the chapel. After a time of worship in the chapel the children move to Room A-129 for songs and activities that reinforce the morning’s Bible theme. With regular visits by such characters as “Jeff the Ref”, “Yosemite Sam”, and “Question Mark” – the children are challenged to remember and take to heart the Bible lesson of the day.
Nametags for children attending Sonshine Hour are located on a Nametag Board outside of the chapel. Please find your child’s nametags and place one on your child’s back and keep the other as your “ticket” to pick up your child after services.
We hope to see your preschooler in our Children’s Worship hour this week.
