PJ collection for The Havens

Children at Brentwood Oaks will be collecting pajamas during December, to be given to the orphans at The Havens. On January 6 all of the collected PJ’s will be brought to the assembly for a GRAND COLLECTION. For more details, see the announcement.

We will be taking photos for the picture board and online directory at the first Sunday meal, Dec. 2.

Please join the Brentwood Oaks church for our first Sunday meal. On the first Sunday of the month we spend more time during worship focusing on communion, the Lord's supper. We extend this fellowship to a church-wide first-Sunday meal, held in the Family Life Center immediately after morning services.

Come worship with us, then join us for a meal. Our first Sunday fellowship meal will feature peppered chicken, Leena's rice, green beans and salad.

If your last name begins with:

  • A-L: bring lettuce and tomatoes
  • M-Z: bring desserts (in disposable containers)

Don't forget, Daylight Savings Time ends at 2am on Sunday, Nov. 4. "Fall back" and back up your clocks an hour. The good news is we get an extra hour of sleep.

L.T.C. (Leadership Training for Christ)

It's ON! LTC 2013: March 29-31, at the DFW Airport Hyatt.

Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) is a program designed for children and youth from 3rd-12th grade. Brentwood Oaks participates in the North Texas Chapter of LTC, which is held in Dallas, Texas on Easter Weekend. More info on the LTC page.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Join us on Sunday, December 16th at 5:00pm for our annual Christmas pageant.  You will hear the story of “The Nativity” told as you’ve never heard it before!  You will hear beautiful sounds of the season, not only from our talented group of elementary students and our always amazing adult chorus, but from a few surprise choral sensations as well.  After the pageant, stay and enjoy holiday goodies and festive fellowship in the Family Life Center.
